Born - Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton NB on February 9th, 1980. Ever since then my life has been "a ride" to say the least.
From then to now God has taught me many valuable lessons, and has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. Although it hasn't always been a smooth ride, God has kept me with the same grace that saved me.
I was married to Laura Hope Palmer [Barbour], a farm girl from PEI, on June 4th, 2004. Laura comes from a beautiful family whom I love [they are more than "in-laws" to me]. Laura means the world to me
I have been blessed in my life, but I finally caught a glimpse into understanding more about God's love for me when He gave me a son, Malachi Marty Palmer [named after my father Marty], on August 9th, 2007. It has been the most profound and fulfilling human experience and has helped me grow closer in my relationship with Christ.
I did my internship at First Wesleyan Church in 2004 and ever since I've dreamed of coming back, but thought it would be in the far off future, if at all. For some reason God has blessed me over and over again. He has given me an awesome youth group to pastor, and the most amazing staff to work with who have become some of my closest friends. I am very thankful for my senior pastor and friend Karl...who is a pastor to pastors. Sometimes I can't believe that God would allow me to be exactly where I wanted, and needed to be.
I love Hockey, baseball, golf, basketball, tennis, skiing. I love to sing and play my Taylor guitar. I love spending time with my friends, and my family. I love going for drives with Laura and Malachi on Saturday mornings and ending up @ Star Bucks [I love white chocolate mochas]. I also love the Fredericton market...I usually get a donair smothered in tsaziki sauce.
I believe people are most fulfilled and at peace when they have a a relationship with Christ, I hope you do. I must end this little session by quoting our senior pastor, "My real passion is that you find your way to Heaven, whether or not you find your way to our church"...although we would love to have you!
